This safari park consists of three facilities: North Safari Sapporo where you can interact with animals, Dangerous Forest where you can see dangerous animals up close, and North Safari Adventure where you can enjoy seasonal activities.
Visitors can interact with meerkats, meerkats, foxes, Hokkaido raccoons, reindeer, flying sloths, and red bears, which are not often seen in other zoos.
Visitors can also feed African lions and Bengal tigers through a single iron fence, and fish for lions using a fishing rod through an opening in the roof of the lion exhibit.
Visitors to the Dangerous Zone, which requires a written pledge to enter, can experience the thrill of walking in close proximity to dangerous animals such as the water monitor, Indian pond porcupine, and Burmese python, and crossing a single bridge over the piranha tank and the crocodile exhibit.
The Dangerous Forest exhibits about 25 species of birds of prey, including owls, hawks, and condors, which visitors can see up close without being separated by cages. There is also a forest fishing pond where visitors can feed black bears with fishing rods from the ceiling and feed Bengal tigers.
Activities include amphibious vehicles for jungle exploration, caterpillar rides such as the DTV Shredder and Segway. In the summer, Jurassicland, a dinosaur theme park, is open, where visitors explore an area that resembles an ancient forest inhabited by large robotic dinosaurs in an autopilot-controlled cart.
During the snow season, the park offers husky dog sledding, snowmobile rides, and banana boats on the snow.
