Located in the Seto Inland Sea National Park, which is called the Mediterranean Sea of Japan, Katazoegahama Beach is a tropical beach with a wide open white beach lined with phoenix trees and avenues of palm trees.
It is also called “Banana Beach” because of the shape of the entire beach.
Suo Oshima Island in the Seto Inland Sea is dotted with beaches of rich individuality, and Katazoegahama Beach, which opens earlier than any other beach in Yamaguchi Prefecture, is the “Hawaii of the Seto Inland Sea. The beach is “Hawaii in Seto Inland Sea.
There are rest areas, changing rooms, showers, and toilets, and the beach has been selected as one of the 100 best bathing beaches and one of the 88 best bathing beaches in Japan.
Surrounded by auto campgrounds, Katazoegahama hot springs, resort hotels, and other facilities, you can enjoy fishing, sports, camping, mandarin orange picking, and other activities throughout the four seasons.
