The Western-style building built between the Taisho and early Showa periods at the foot of Mt. Tennozan exhibits mainly ceramics by Kanjiro Kawai, Shoji Hamada, and Bernard Leach.
The new wing, designed by Tadao Ando, features paintings such as Monet’s “Waterlilies.
The beautiful building, garden, and views are also a must-see.
