Today, many couples visit the bridge, and the location is also popular with fans of the drama as a destination for location-based sightseeing, or “seichi junrei”.
Messages left by fans of “Kisarazu Cat’s Eye” can also be found around the bridge, adding to its connection with the television series.
Nakanoshima is conveniently accessible by both public transportation and car.
From JR Kisarazu Station on the Uchibo Line, Nakanoshima can be reached on foot.
From the Tokyo metropolitan area, use the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line and exit at Kisarazu-Kaneda Interchange. The island is approximately 15 minutes away by car.
Highway buses operate from Tokyo Station and Haneda Airport to Kisarazu. From the Kisarazu area, visitors can continue to Nakanoshima by local transportation or on foot.
