Tokashiki Island

Tokashiki Island is located at the eastern end of the Kerama Islands, 30 km west of Naha. The island is blessed with mountains and forests, and its topography is rich in variety.

Along the coastline are Tokashiku Beach and Abaren Beach, both known for their beautiful coral reefs, and the Hinakushi shell mound, where people have lived since prehistoric times.

The transparency of the ocean is among the highest in the world, reaching 50-60 meters, and marine sports such as diving are popular here.

Whale watching is also recommended to see the humpback whales that migrate around the island from the end of December to March.
