The observatory at the top of 333-meter-high Mt. Inasa offers a 10-million-dollar night view.
The entire city can be seen and a 360-degree panoramic view can be enjoyed.
Along with Mount Hakodate in Hakodate and Mount Maya in Kobe, this is one of the three most beautiful nightscapes in Japan.
Along with Monaco and Hong Kong, it has been recognized as one of the world’s new top three nightscapes.
Inasa Park
Inasa, there is an outdoor music hall, a playground with a slide and a fountain, a free zoo with monkeys and deer, and a free parking lot that can accommodate approximately 400 vehicles.
Mountain Trails
There are several well-maintained trails that allow visitors to walk up the mountain in the midst of nature.
The soil near the trails is poor due to the pyroclastic rock geology, and plants that cannot be found in other areas grow here, such as the Japanese knotweed.
There is a restaurant at the observatory, where you can enjoy a meal while looking at the night view in front of you.
Inasayama Park is also famous for its azaleas, with as many as 80,000 blooming in Inasayama Park.
The Nagasaki Inasa Slope Car will take you from the parking lot in the middle of the mountain where Inasa Park is located to the observation deck at the top of the mountain.
The car was designed by Kiyoyuki Okuyama, an industrial designer who has worked on luxury cars such as the Ferrari, and is designed to keep the car level even when the gradient changes.
The Nagasaki Ropeway takes visitors directly to the top of Mt.
The ropeway runs 1,110 meters from Fuchi Jinja Station at the foot of the mountain to Inasadake Station at the summit.
10 minutes by bus from Nagasaki Station → 5 minutes by ropeway
