The museum is generally closed on Mondays and during the New Year holiday from December 28 through January 4.

There may also be closures on the day following a public holiday, even when the museum is open on the holiday itself. The museum may additionally close at the end of the month, excluding Saturdays and Sundays, for collection management and other internal work. Visitors should check the latest schedule before visiting.
