The ropeway offers a panoramic view of the Toyako Usu Volcano Geopark, centering on Mount Usu, a globally active volcano that has erupted four times in the past 100 years of the 20th century.
The ropeway offers a 6-minute one-way aerial walk with a height difference of approximately 356 meters and a distance of 1,370 meters.
At the top of the mountain is Mt. USU Terrace, an observation deck with sofas on which you can enjoy a distant view of Ekka Bay, Mt. Yotei, Lake Toya, and Nakajima, and the Showa Shinzan Mountains below.

At the foot station of the ropeway, there is a volcano village with restaurants and stores, an eruption experience room, and the Usu Geopark Volcano Village Information Center, where visitors can learn about the mechanism of eruptions.
A walking trail leads from the ropeway station at the summit to the Crater Basin Observatory, where you can look down on the crater from which the 1977 eruption of Mt.
