Konakaike Pond is an agricultural irrigation reservoir located in the Konaka area of Oamishirasato City, Chiba Prefecture. The group has worked to bring species such as Japanese rice fish (medaka) and Genji fireflies back to the area. These efforts have contributed to the restoration of the local environment while providing opportunities for residents and children to learn about the importance of protecting nature.
Konakaike can be reached via Chiba Prefectural Route 20, the Chiba–Ōami Line. Visitors arriving by car should use designated parking areas where available.
